Wine Shop openWe finally receive our liquor license and launched our Wine Shop.

We will have wine for all types of wine buyers; for example, the Red Guitar wine (which I and several of the artists can personally attest is very good) (and artists know these things, you know) is only $9.50/bottle.  

Skip Farmer is our wine supplier and he will be supplying us wine from local distributors as well as importing wine from Europe. He says people can tell him what their favorite wine is and he can probably have it for them next time around.

By the Way, Skip Farmer often provides our entertainment in the gallery along with his wife Sandy. They play the guitar and percussion and sing, many of the songs original as Skip is a songwriter also.

We will have a Red Guitar Spanish blend of Granache and Tempernillo grapes.  It is a rich blend of grapes that really compliment each other.  This wine's greatest plus is that it is "easy" on the palate with a lingering, pleasant flavor. There will also be a French blush wine offered that has a crisp, clean flavor without being overly sweet. The white wine for this month's Artwalk will be a french style blend from David Hill, a local winery.

Since Artwalk means complementary glasses of wine, we will be giving sample wine tastes of these wines and have the full bottles for sale. We will have certain hours that wine will be for sale though. Our artists who staff the gallery will have to have their alcohol server permits so only the ones on duty during the specific hours will be able to sell wine. Here are those hours:

First Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:30 then wine hours (wine sold by the glass or the bottle) are during happy hours 4 pm -- 6 pm daily Tuesday through Thursday; Fridays from 4 pm until 10:00 pm (to be open during Open Mic); and other specific events that will be publicized. During the summer, hours will change to include Tuesday Marketplace hours of every Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
